1972 hyrde jag en lokal vid Sandtorget i Skövde. Målade väggarna vita och på hösten öppnade jag Galleri Lucifer. Och på den vägen är det fortfarande efter 40 år.
In 1972 I rented a cheap place with three rooms at one of the city squares. Painted the walls white and in fall I opened Gallery Lucifer. And it’s still going strong after more than 40 years.
Admittedly, gentrification has forced me to move twice. However the gallery remains right in center of the city. In the same house as the prinsthop ”Skaraborgs Konstgrafiska Verkstad”, an art school and several other cultural activities. In the block just across the street is the city’s official cultural center.
The goal is now as before to produce interesting exhibitions.
